AHF hired IF to forecast the future of HIV care. As part of that work, we performed four streams of research and created a series of Illustrated research summaries highlighting the findings.
AIDS Healthcare Foundation
Who is the HIV patient of the future?
As part of our work, we reviewed existing demographic research that examined what HIV patients will look like in the future. This summary highlights our key findings.
Summary of digital health trends
We researched the current state of digital health capabilities, with a focus on three key areas: telehealth, remote patient monitoring, and apps.
Insights from diabetes and contraception
Recognizing that HIV is a relatively young chronic condition, we looked at how technology has affected two other healthcare-related topics with a much longer history: diabetes and contraception. Then we used the findings to identify insights for how HIV is likely to evolve.
Tech megatrends
We also looked to a set of sector-agnostic tech trends that we used to expand our creativity about how technology would be likely to evolve within the healthcare sector.
